We draw inspiration for our necklaces, bracelets, earrings and rings from an eclectic array of places and our collections include bridal, equestrian and contemporary designs as well as more quirky pieces.
Our jewellery is handmade to order, and most of the findings, charms and settings used are hand forged and soldered in our little in-house workshop. This makes every piece unique and special, whilst also allowing us to offer you the opportunity to personalise many of our designs or commission a bespoke piece.
All of our jewellery is made from sterling silver, fine silver, 9ct and 18ct gold and as we are registered with the goldsmiths assay office in London, we are able to have our designs hallmarked too.
We adore pearls and gemstones and we even have a range of bracelets and necklaces made from braided horse hair.
Dressed to the nines was dreamt up by Emily Siminska-Orme and was born out of her desire to do something a little more creative career wise.
Originally set up in 2008 as an online store selling clothing and accessories, the focus shifted to purely jewellery as Emily realised she much preferred that side of the business.
She has always been enchanted by the antique jewellery gifted to her by her mum and grannies, and much like a magpie, has a soft spot for anything sparkly, but it wasn't until she bought a jewellers hand torch in 2014 and started experimenting with sterling silver that she really discovered her passion for fine jewellery and working with gemstones and precious metals.
Since then she has gone on to set up her own home workshop where she taught herself a variety of traditional metal working, silver smithing and gem setting techniques to produce her hand crafted range of necklaces, earrings, bracelets and rings.
Although dressed to the nines has evolved, the emphasis has always remained the same - beautiful and unique pieces designed for those who are looking for something a little different than the mass-produced offerings of the high street.
